One of the most important things you can do for the people you love is to share your funeral wishes. Not just the practical things, but the music that moves you, the stories you'd like told, the feeling you'd want the room to have.

This is a free, unhurried session - usually around an hour, where we discuss and record your wishes for your funeral service.

We talk about what matters to you. I listen carefully, and at the end you have a document that captures exactly what you want.

I hold that document safely. Your family will know it exists and they will know who to call when the time comes.

When someone dies, their family faces dozens of decisions in the hardest days of their lives.

• What music?
• What should be said?

If those wishes are already recorded - clearly, warmly, in your own words - the people you love are freed from guessing. They can simply honour you.

When the time comes, your family contacts me directly. I already know what you wanted. I help them bring it to life. If they need a funeral director, I can help them find one. They don't have to navigate any of it alone.
